INSTALLATION & PRODUCT FUNCTION

To affix the 15U open-frame wall-mountable rack to a wall, there are 4 anchor points on the rear of the rack.
Using the appropriate screws or bolts for mounting heavy equipment to your specific type of wall.
Observing proper safety procedures and use the appropriate tools.
To install rack mountable equipment into the RACK-LNWORA-15U, use the provided square cage nuts to provide the mounting points, then use the provided cabinet screws to secure the equipment to the cage nuts.
The wall mounts are positioned 16in apart (center to center), making it suitable for mounting on virtually any wall surface, based on North American wall frame stud spacing standards.
keeping your equipment easily accessible. In small but secure locations, a wall mount open frame rack provides excellent airflow and easy access to wiring.

What size of rack do you need?

The height of a rack, and the height of equipment in it, is expressed in “rack units” (a rack unit is 1.75 inches, or 44.45mm). The actual height of a 42U rack is therefore 42 x 1.75 = 73.5 inches. A 2U server would occupy two of the available 42 rack units.

Rack Depth

Determine the maximum rack depth required to mount your equipment in a floor-standing or wall-mount rack enclosure cabinet.

Can the rack handle the weight of your equipment?

Racks have a weight limit. Make sure that the capacity of the rack is greater than the total weight of the equipment being mounted. This rack can handle weight of maximum 55 LB.
